D updated their OHP today. For those from the meetup, D is the band with the former Junior in it. He's the kindofslutty-looking blonde with the awesome boots. >.> I think they're awesome. Would not/could not wear them at all, even if they were in my size, but I like looking. XD

I cannot wait for more pictures with Asagi's pimp cane. Seriously. The red rose on the top is just... so Asagi, and sort of ridiculous.


The diary picture for each person is the same as the profile one, just cropped a little and slightly zoomed in. But I saved it anyways, because D is nice and lets you right click and save images on their OHP, unlike some. *eyes LiZ* In the other pictures I've seen of these outfits, you can see that he's wearing both pink and green (maybe blue?) eyeshadow, and a little jewel near his eye. Dramatic!

Actually, most of these remind me of amalgams of past costumes. Though Ruiza usually shows off some belly and thigh (thanks for that :D). Already mentioned the boots. Laaaaces.

This definitely reminds me of several things Hide-zou's worn in the past. And he looks really skinny in this particular picture, though he doesn't look that thin in the others I've seen and I think some of it's just the lighting. Funny how HZ is sort of the rawr!grr one of the bunch (image-wise, of course), but he usually ends up in more feminine clothes than Ruiza... in terms of long skirts and the like.

Hiroki looks different. At first I thought he looked younger, but now maybe it's just that his face looks different with his hair shorter. I don't know. One day, D should do a photoshoot in which they all get to smile like the dorks they are. /somewhat random, but Hiroki makes me think of smiles, I guess.

Time for new D icons! Especially since I've definitely failed my icon challenge for them. >.>

Also, I am sort of proud of myself for noticing this before the post in the D comm went up. Just because. I need a nap.

AHAHAHAHA. Okay, seriously, these pictures look like they were taken in a hotel lobby. >.> By a fan. I am a little surprised, they've had much more professional looking photographs in the past. Totally wrote pants. Has Asagi worn those pants before or have we only seen him in ones that lace up the side? I definitely have seen those legwarmers/thighless pants on HZ before, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHATEVER HE WORE OVER HIS ASS/CROTCH LOOKING THAT SKIRTY. OR SHORT. UM. *______________* HARO.

Tsunehito still totally looks like an alien, possibly more so in this pic than he has for a long time. Since like, Schwarzschild, which seems like yesterday but apparently was in Fall. IT MUST BE THE EXPLANATION FOR HIS SKINNY ASS.

I am also more amused that Ruiza (to me) looks more rawr than Asagi in his solo pic. Or maybe that's just me. >.> And Asagi looks like he can't decide between manriness and corsets/ruffles. Oh Asagi, sometimes I think your costumes try a little too hard. This would be one of them. There's too much. Usually he looks more polished. Actually, a lot of these costumes look like LET'S GO THROUGH OUR COSTUME RACKS, FIND SOMETHING ALL BLACK, ADD MOAR LACE AND MOAR RUFFLES AND POSSIBLY NEW SHOES (or dominatrix slut boots if you're Ruiza) AND CALL IT NEW. Combined with the photos I'm thinking that their budget must have entirely gone into PV/production/paying to be part of that film. >.>

I think they're trying too hard to reassure their fans that even though they've gone major, they're still the same ol' D from before, hence the flashback costumes and the fake flowers everywhere. Maybe people were getting worried, or else they were just thinking they'd do something new and not!all!black for BIRTH so that they could be like, "Look, we're GROWING!" and then for the second song, they could backtrakck and go, "We're growing, but we're the SAME."

I think Asagi has worn Very Similar Pants before. Just as everyone else has worn Very Similar [fill-in-the-blanks] before. Except for Tsune.

I'm curious as to what Asagi's costume looks like without the overcoat and/or the ruffles. He'd probably be nearly naked without the ruffles.
