The WST was over two hours of sitting in a stuffy classroom with no air conditioning. x_x It was about as challenging as any of those high school standarized tests (i.e. not very), and was especially easy because a lot of it dealt with error analysis and things that I've spent the whole semester doing in my Tutor Training class and with my tutees.

I like trains, though. I watched some little white birds diving for food at a lake. They had really sharp wings and would hover and hover and then just tuck their wings in and drop like little missiles into the water. Sometimes they'd sort of just angle their wings a bit and fall like sheets of paper. Really really pretty.

And trains are good for listening to new music I put on my iPod. Today was KAT-TUN's DON'T U EVER STOP (and dammit, I want to type 'YOU' every time) and SuG.

So. I have this thing about Jin. Sometimes I think he's great fun, in a funny, hip-swiveling sort of way - depending on context (I mean, the first time I saw a picture of him was when he'd gotten to LA and ended up in a pikachu outfit), and sometimes I think he's annoying, in a bratty, I-don't-really-want-to-be-here sort of way. I rarely find him hot, though (yes, shocking! call it overexposure?).

But 'kay, LOVEJUICE changed that. Also that moment in DUES with the "Hell, yeah." But mostly LOVEJUICE. Especially that bit in the beginning that goes, "Drop. that. shit. like." Which makes me laugh because it's so.... Jin+LA, but also turns a small part of me to goo. >.>

I actually really liked all of their solos. Ueda's is pretttty and cello-y, and I haven't seen the lyrics for any of these yet (I know they've been posted - I just haven't read them) but it sounds angsty. His voice sounds clearer than before, too.

Someone should write Subaru/Ueda fic. >.> In which they write a song together. Angstily. This is crackfic, of course.

Those two were kind of the standouts for me. Junno's voice didn't bother me in his. Sometimes, he sounds a bit too... I don't know how to describe it... but I'd say I typically like his singing voice the least of the group's. Koki and Nakamaru's were sort of normal for them, but in a good way. Same with Kame's - I can totally picture him doing another chair dance with this song, too. XDD

I was going to listen to both KAT-TUN and SuG on the way down to San Jose, but I ended up listening to DUES on repeat. >.> Listened to SuG on the way up, though, but I slept through a few songs. This was not because of the songs - I really like SuG; they don't sound like most of the other Jrock I listen to; I was sitting in the sun.

Aaaaaaand, happy birthday, Alei and Karen! ♥ I wish I had presents or a shiny graphic or something, but... maybe belatedly. I make no promises, though. XD

I may need a Jin icon. For those slutty moments that I have oh-so-often-right.

I really like Kame, but I've gotta admit that I didn't think his was all that remarkable (it's not bad, just not... well, impression-making, for me at least :P). Unless he does another chair dance. Or some other kind of prop dance. >.>

I think I'm just too picky for making requests on those. When I have to think of more than just a band or a pairing, I usually end up with a specific idea, and then I figure I might as well write it myself. Have you written anything for this one?

HMM, I wonder which are yours... I haven't been following this one that closely, since a lot of the prompts seem like leftovers from the earlier kink/smutmeme. I think I want to write some Jrock fic to balance out my rock/pop ratio before I seriously consider anything off the meme. XD

I am really bad at figuring out who wrote what unless they're writing basically the same thing every time. XD I'm randomly nitpicky about things so it bothers me that people are trying to reply to posted fics, and end up starting new threads instead so there are comments that are just like, "WHOA." in with the requests. I hadn't seen the trolls, though.

It's a very informal ratio. XD I have some Jrock OTPs that I still adore and plenty of random bunnies (and a bajillion challenges I haven't caught up on/finished), but they end up getting pushed aside by JE.

That pretty much sums up my entire feelings on Jin and how I started to find him attractive. And how I still want to punch him in the face. Yes. It was Lovejuice + soccer in a disheveled tux. Official lyrics says it's 'drop that shit life' but most of us do not believe. XD

When I listened to the radio rip of DUES, I had it on repeat for over a day. The crappy version of Lovejuice was on repeat enough to rack up 400 counts. x_X By the time I got the CD version, I'd somewhat played it out.

Did you watch the Music Station of their solo performances? Junno . . . just . . . where is the KokiJinnosuke fic about teaching Junno street cred and 'how to be a thug'. WHERE IS IT?

Yes. He's such a brat in the Making Of the Signal PV, but I actually like it there because everyone is not awkward when Jin is being dorky and annoying. XD But most of the time in recent non-performance clips, I want to smack him. Especially cKT, where he usually ends up lurking in the background when everyone else is being idiotic. Bakanishi, where are yoooou?

I don't think I've made that many slutty icons! I mean, I don't have any of those icons uploaded. Except maybe this one. I mean, even my Ruiza icons are fluffy. And I specifically maybe want a Jin one. XD

Ha, yes. XD He's always been fantastic when he's performing, but like... on Cartoon KAT-TUN when the others are being silly, he's always just hanging back in the background like he'd rather be somewhere else. And he's not exactly subtle about it. :P

Ahahah 'DUES' and 'Lovejuice' are bad for people's health, I'm totally convinced of that.
I think that half of my flist has been listening to 'Lovejuice' on repeat for like...weeks now. I'm totally one of them cause the song pwns me so very hard :/

Also, you should really check their performances of the solo songs in the last Music Station.
Junno is trying to be all gangsta or something and just ends up being cute while Kame...well, he doesn't have a chair but he has an umbrella ;D

Yes it does. I'm actually seriously thinking of pre-ordering Queen of Pirates because I like this sort of boppy rock thing they have going on, and I was just going to buy things from smaller bands cause they need the support more (like LiZ!). Oh, pop. Not to mention, I have so many Jrock bands I love to catch up on in terms of *cough* legally acquiring at least a single or a CD or two.

I watched it! Junno's gangsta look is great because it's not obnoxious, too. Everyone knows he is so not gangsta, but it's not like he's trying very hard to be either. I've noticed that whenever Jin does thrusty dances (ala Pinky), he wears baggy clothes. I wonder if that's a safety thing - like if the fangirls could see in any more detail, there would be a lot of fainting going on? XD

I saw the good fancam of the long version before the official one came out, yes! It's kind of ridiculous how huge their productions look next to NEWS' and K8 and a lot of the other groups, though. I'd LOVE to see a silly sunny KAT-TUN PV, but... well, honestly, they would be the most awkward silly sunny group of the bunch. XD Junno would be all by himself being like :DDDD.
