She wants me to be more like my friends, more like her, more like Michael - as though we're all really the same person, and I'm just weird for not being able to "get over" things like my anxiety about driving. x_x

Sizna from Sugar. I... still don't have any of Sugar's music, and I've only listened to one or two songs, but I think they are very iconable, and I particularly love this photoshoot. I also decided to use Sizna as the face of one of my Nanowrimo '07 characters, so I picked him over the other guys for this icon. The red clawmarks are kind of a reference (but not really) to my old nickname, Red-claw. Or hey, Wolverine. >.> Or Sizna's Nano counterpart, who is a tengu.
Diru's Shinya's new year's drawing from... 2003, I think. It was just so adorable I had to icon it. XD Plus, I like having a sheep icon for times when I am feeling sheepish or memeish. :P Also, this is one of the few times I've been happy with how I've used one of those ubiquitous notebook textures.

10variations back when I was still using Kate as my PB for the grown-up Cessily Kincaid at X-Displaced, and I was using Patrick Park lyrics on all of the icons in this set, hence the choice of text.
Kirito from Pierrot. I rly like selective coloring? And this is sort of my gay rights icon, I guess. XD Also, Psychedelic Lover was the song that got me to listen to Pierrot.

I don't use it very much anymore, partially because I don't rant quite as much and also because it seems like there have been a lot more shootings (particularly at schools), so I feel kinda :/// about using it. Arron and Hebe from Fahrenheit's "Zhi dui ni you gan jue" MV. This video is so cute; everyone communicates via emoticons. Arron plays the flute, which inspires Hebe to leave him bottles of milk, for some reason. >.>
Aki from SID. This is a quote from his blog, back when he was crazier. There was a truck doing construction near his apartment, and so he did a play-by-play sort of rantrawrgthing about it. Another quote from that is "WHAT IS WITH THAT TRUCK."
Cropped from the old banner I used to have in my userinfo. I really liked that banner but I had it up for hella long and wanted to change, and just kept the icon anyways. The photo at the top is one I took while coming home over the SF Bay, and everything else was made by other people. :D

A quote from Vidoll's Rame in an interview post-JRR. They were talking about their experience in LA, and someone said something about either aggressive homeless people, or huge scary people or something, and how it made their view of LA change, and Rame said, "Image down" in English. XDD
